I want the ability to run "Get Mail", and be able to "Page Up", at the
very least.  Hitting space for "Page Down" doesn't cut it.  Now, if I
click on the message pane, then Up, Down, PgUp and PgDn work
correctly.

Hals cut to the chase for me on this, and solidified my thinking.

I want to be able to use Up, Down, PgUp and PgDn to navigate messages,
whilst having access to next and previous message and delete to.  All
without ever having to touch the mouse.

It would be great to see it work both ways.
