Dia does not support SVG objects as such, they are converted into
images, which can in turn be stretched, but that's ugly.  Groups cannot
be stretched at all due to the fact that different objects have very
different ideas of how they can be transformed.  Implementing it, while
high on our wishlists, is not easy, it'd be changing a lot of the
essential infrastructure.
