I think there is some dashboard-rhythmbox integration (see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117083).
We could say that rhythmbox centralizes where the data on our music is
located (and I'm not sure we can do better than that: we can't
centralize the music files).
