I some time ago had an idea about this I suggested to Havoc in a private
email;

Subject: 	a possible crackful idea

I wondered if you have ever thought of implementing a 'switch user' type
functionality sort of like winxp does. The thought here is to enable say
a family using linux to quickly switch between users of one system
without having to log out of the desktop and back in to do it.

Say for example 'dad' was using the computer to surf the net and 'mom'
came along and just wanted to quickly check her mail. Dad could possibly
let her switch to a different workspace, which would prompt for a
password, then that desktop would have her menu, prefs, etc and also
check her mail. He doesn't have to close the web browser on the page her
was looking at (its still active, just in a different workspace) and she
gets to check her mail quickly.

What do you think? crack? total bs? or maybe a good idea for sometime in
the future?
