Re: [Banshee-List] 2.4.0 "grunt" work.

A few more task that seem good places to contribute:

Clean up unused code: ?RemoteAudio, Sample, ?SqlDebugConsole, Template
Sounds like a good task to get to know the Banshee codebase

Rebase SQL patch and collect performance data
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/banshee-list/2011-September/msg00143.html

Review albumartist/genre/year browsing patch
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540873

Add ATOM feed support to podcast extension
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=637874

Fixing locking in DAP code
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=614039
(should be fairly easy)

Can't code, still want to contribute? Can draw and come up with
compelling designs?

Designs are needed for MeeGo player to present:

Podcast: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=637146
Audiobooks: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=637347

Inspiration might be drawn from the GNOME3 Music player designs.

Can't draw either? Can type?

My little how to obtain log files (in a format that doesn't make
bugzilla sad and allows the user to view output) needs updates for
Windows (I have already covered Linux and OS X) followed by
upstreaming to banshee.fm.

And of course reviewing bugs, answering user questions on the mailing
list and IRC.
