I don't use podcast, but use it for streaming radio. May this be the
problem?

It's probably pulling in a DTD or xmlns from w3:
http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html
Although I can't imagine why thouse wouldn't be cached.
As I mentioned on the bug
(https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=601554), those DTD should
not be fetched at all.
Paul, as a further confirmation, can you also provide the output of
running this in a terminal:
sqlite3 ~/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db "select url from podcastsyndications"
If you ever want to use the Podcast extension again, it would be
possible to manually remove the invalid entries from you Banshee
database.
Hola,
I installed sqlite3, and ran the command line in terminal.
$ sqlite3 ~/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db "select url from
podcastsyndications"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00vj34p/Electric_Proms_2010_Neil_Diamond
Aaaahhh yes, I remember trying once to get this from BBC podcast, but as
I am in Spain it wouldn't let me.
How does one remove it?
Many thanks for all your help again.
Paul
