Re: [Banshee-List] would really appreciate some help to fix my banshee player

If you'd rather not delete your playcounts, ratings, and playlists, you can
get Banshee to build a new database for you by renaming your old one. In
terminal:

cd ~/.config/banshee-1 && mv banshee.db banshee.db.backup

With your current database now named banshee.db.backup, Banshee won't see it
and will create a blank on for you when you the next time you start it up.
This way, if you realize that you had important information in your database
that you want to get back, you can always get back to it.

Also, if you think you'll do this more than once, you might want to rename
it something like banshee.db.20100114 or something more identifiable than
just "backup".
