I'm not sure that that error is related, but you are running a fairly
old version of libmtp. The one to look at is libmtp8, and for banshee
1.4.1 you could try with libmtp 0.3.7. I've found the libmtp project
moves quickly, and it's always worth having an up to date version to
get the latest fixes.
Note that to use libmtp > 1.0.0, you'll need banshee 1.5.1, which
includes a patch required for the latest versions of libmtp. If you
can find a package of libmtp8 0.3.7 for suse, i'd try that first.
