Honestly, I do not agree. There are a wide variety of similar
abstraction libraries for other languages (DBI for Perl, PDO for PHP,
etc.) that I think would work quite well as prior art for the API that
has been developed by Microsoft. I find it very unlikely that there
is anything new or novel in ADO.NET.
