Hi. Using Balsa 2.4.11 -- the latest in my software repository.
A question. After reading an e-mail, I don't want to just delete
it. I
want to archive it in gmail's All Mail folder. Deleting the mail
tells
gmail to permanently delete it in 30 days -- I don't want to do that.
Is there a key to archive the mail instead of delete? Pressing "e" in
gmail does this; pressing "a" in Thunderbird does the same thing.
But I
like Balsa.
Sorry for the late response. I am not really sure how GMail works,
because it is not fully documented. When I use balsa with Gmail, I
press Ctrl-D to remove the message in inbox. It appears to remain in
"All Mail" folder and I hope this means it is archived. It does not
show up in "Trash" in this way. When I want to delete the message
permanently, I drag it to "Trash" folder When I want to archive more
important mail, I drag it to another folder.
I hope this helps,
Pawel
