I flag my deleted messages to be hidden. And they are deleted when I  
leave balsa.

I remarked the problem while I was creating a new filter in the Inbox  
and then I used [Apply now] to move the matching messages.
Then I've found again all the messages I've previously deleted in the  
various mailboxes.
