More specifically, it puts the *complete* message into a message/rfc822  
container without *any* modification, preserving inter alia the envelope  
information (Balsa will display the headers of the enclosed message) as  
well as (if present) a pgp signature. Thus the recipient of the forwarded  
message can check its validity by checking the *original* senders  
signature, which is not possible for inline forwarded stuff (the  
"secondary" sender can manipulate the contents as (s)he likes, and a new  
signature does of course not ensure that the forwarded/"quoted" has not  
been tampered with...).
