OK. What is simpler will suit me better anyway ;-)
So to sum up [everyone voting loudly before I dig into the code ;-)] : One 
mail in sentbox when all has gone well (i.e. the message has been cleared 
from the outbox). This means that we copy the very same message in the 
sentbox.
