Re: Status of sponsorship

Dear Mario,

Peter is actually a good friend of mine and his schedule for November is to be in Europe. He'll be attending OOoCon (November 3-6 in Italy) and then spend a month in Germany. I doubt he can be available for Gnome.Asia as he has been preparing this trip since a few months back.

I will still talk to him as we meet regularly.

Yes, it would be great to organize a panel and have OpenOffice participate.

@ Emily, could you have a chat with Peter Junge from Red Office about
it maybe? He did a fantastic job with the OpenOffice.org Conference in
Beijing. His email <peterjunge redoffice com>

If we can get some good speakers, we can also try to talk to TV here
to have the panel on TV. Those things are not so difficult to do. Just
need enough time to contact TV. How can we pursue here?

I talked to Louis at a conference (OSCON?) and he was interested in seeing
how we could work together. I think he was thinking a panel at a conference,
but if we could get OpenOffice to participate in GNOME Asia or give a few
talks, I think that'd be great.
