I'm using Visual C++ 6.0 and I'm having this problem when I compile with "Win32 Release" mode. Switch to 
"Win32 Debug" to avoid it.

I have been struggling for more than a day trying to get the library to work on my machine. I am running XP 
with the Microsoft Visual C++ Enterprise Edition. 
 
To not waste anybody’s time I will get right to the point. 
 
I have included in the Libxml2.lib file in the “resource file section” of the IDE. The path to the 
directories for this library has been correctly pointed to in this section.  However when I compile the 
program I get the following error messages:
 
Main.obj: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp_xmlFree
Main.obj: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __xmlNodeListGetString
Main.obj: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __xmlStrcmp
Main.obj: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __xmlFreeDoc
Main.obj: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __xmlDocGetRootElement
 
And so on…
 
I am feeling like an idiot as I have been developing for a long time and cannot spot the problem. I have 
search countless internet posts to see if I can find what the problem is. To no avail. Now I am going nuts… 
Please Igor or someone please help here.
