Yeah, that would be a bad thing. It might become feasible if the
majority of future GNOME/GLib/GTK/etc. system and application
development were to move to Vala, but I'd think that probably doing
some sort of method name mangling (just not to the extent that C++
does) would be best.
P.S. The message quoted by Michael was supposed to go to the list, but
I messed up the recipients.
I guessed that; your mail was the second one that came to me that way.
I am guessing that maybe something about the way posts coming from
GMANE show up on-list maybe causes the message's reply-to to be
abnormal?
