Yes, this was introduced in OS X 10.5, although it's a little more
hidden than the proposals here. In OS X, a search box appears on the
Help menu, and searches both menu items and help topics as you type.
If you select a menu item from the list of results, you are shown
where in the menu hierarchy the command lives.
