ok - just fix up the previous issue then
The patch is some mails above - not the first one though!
About the arguments: I'll try again ;)
When WatchDirectoryRoots is empty, i.e. no directories listed,
trackerd will automatically watch and index $HOME. If on the other
hand WatchDirectoryRoots is not empty, i.e. some dirs somewhere deep
in the / shall be watched, trackerd will _not_ watch and/or index
$HOME when not explicitly in the list.
Additionally, when trackerd finds no configuration, a default config
is created with $HOME by default watched, as does tracker-preferences.
What I want to make clear; if we change this, no new users will have a
different experience in starting up trackerd whatsoever. If however
someone relies on the behavior of watching and indexing $HOME even
with WatchDirectoryRoots is empty (again, which is not the case with a
default config), these users are relying on a bug[1] ;).
I came up with this issue because I wanted to index a document tree,
and not my home - which is a perfectly valid use case for a highly
configurable and flexible desktop indexer :).
So, I hope you'll not gonna throw me out of here ;).
Kind regards, Marcus
