the gnome stuff is optional - it wont build it if you dont
have the
dependencies.
It could be cool to have a small qt4 demo app in the tree too.
Perhaps I should look a bit into that (as if I had any time -
bleh!). Anyways, could be cool - if I am correctly informed the qt
dbus bindings should be relatively stable no?
It might help adoption of your program, if you get the kde users
interested.

I'm actually an Xfce user, using the tracker-search-tool. I experience
two bugs:
1. I cannot open files by double-clicking on them in the search-tool, I get:
"There is no viewer capable of displaying the document"
Gnome doesn't know which viewer to use :-(, however I'm not sure how to
fix this.
2. I cannot use the open-folder feature because I do not have nautilus
installed. Would it be possible to use xdg-utils so that
tracker-search-tool doesn't depend on a particular file-manager?
