Ok.  Has anybody started on a TnyDevice implementation for NM?  I
presume that's needed for full GNOME desktop integration.

Yes, modest is what we are really interested in here.  I suspect that
also needs some hacking to work correctly with a
TnyNetworkManagerDevice?
