RE: sawfish windows overlap panel



To get around the overlapping, open up the Sawfish Configurator (Desktop Preferences->Windows in debian) and create a matched window:

Name <-> ^gnome-panel^

Set the depth of this window to 1


That will keep your panel on top...always, including for things that you really want to be full screen (e.g. Totem when it is playing a movie). If anyone knows how to handle that, I'd love to know!
