It should, but we're not doing it ourselves, we use the GStreamer
infrastructure for this

I talked to them and there are certain problems with MP3 and non-latin
scripts. If you can provide a non-working MP3 we might be able to look
into that. IIRC chances are good if your locale is correct (which it
seems to be) and the tag encoding is UTF-8.
