I have succeeded in making a rc-script for rygel, but stopping the app gracefully is not yet working (see attached file if you are interested). (the attached files sources a file in /etc/conf.d, but that file only contains the username rygel should be started with). My /etc/rygel.conf is pretty standard: setting the media-directories, setting the http port to 5001 (although I cannot see a webpage in my browser). No accelerated IMDCT transform found ** Message: 'file:///srv/media/video' harvested ** Message: 'file:///srv/media/photo' harvested ** Message: 'file:///srv/media/audio' harvested I guess those errors/warnings are not important: it is complaining I don't have X or tracker installed. I did disable the tracker-plugin, so that message should probably not be returned at all. I don't know what the 'IMDCT transform'-errors mean. They didn't show up the last time I started Rygel, and in the mean time I only installed the good, bad and ugly plugins from gst. Tonight I'll be trying to actually play some media on my PS3 and get back to you with my success-story :) Vincent
