[Rhythmbox-devel] [Weekly Report] Week 8: Rhythmbox iPod/MTP Syncing

Morning All,
   This last week was spent implementing a rudimentary Sync Preview 
(Shows volume usage after syncing), and putting finishing touches on the 
iPod Syncing code, cleaning it up, and debugging.  Unfortunately, I did 
not get to transferring playlists.  As such, I have marked that to be 
revisited during the fudge-time at the end of the project.

A few entries from my git-shortlog last week:
     Merge branch 'master' of git://git.gnome.org/rhythmbox
     added generate_ipod_filename_unique, to append numbers for 
duplicated file

     Hooked up iPod Sync Preview bar, and got it calculating the space 
needed c
     Setting up auto-syncing
     Connecting ipod auto-sync handlers

This week is scheduled for porting the sync code, which I have been 
testing and prototyping in the iPod plugin, to the MTP plugin.
