Not really -- hit Go -> CD Creator (in GNOME 2.3.x) or install
nautilus-cd-burner and go to burn:/// (GNOME 2.[02]).  Drop files there,
press the Burn CD button.

Nope, thats just a CD writer which happens to have "gnome" in its name.

Well, the CD writing architecture isn't too hard, and most of it has
already been implemented in nautilus-cd-burner as reusable GObjects.
