I don't think 'go it ourselves' was the decision at all; if it had
been, we would have seen people screaming (at very least me), whereas
we had *no* dissenting votes of any kind on the list.

I was the only one that even mentioned eclipse (I didn't want
acceptance of anjuta to diminish collaboration efforts with Eclipse).
It worried me a little bit, but I think it may not be that big of an
issue.  It's kind of like the gnome-productivity suite suggested a
while back; including it wouldn't have likely dropped our
collaboration efforts with open-office.  People work on what they want
to work on.
