Running GTK2+ programs remotely (ssh over adsl) is already a pain
anyway.
It shouldn't be. And it really isn't with the right compressing proxy and
a quiet theme. (http://www.nomachine.com/products.php, for example.
Painful to set up last I tried, but quite effective.)
