Hmm.  Try booting with systemd.unit=multi-user.target, and then
look at the contents of /var/log/gdm/:0-greeter.log
for anything useful.

But in general, as far as I know we're still not in a state really where
things other than Intel work unfortunately =/  I'm still debugging why
llvmpipe mesa is crashing.
