I don't think there is anything to configure in brltty.

What happens is that the graphical desktop starts a seocnd brltty that
uses the a2 screen driver to render graphical terminals and the BrlAPI
braille driver through which it connects to the brltty that is already
running and used to read the text consoles. It is this already running
brltty that controls the actually braille display. So, there really are
two different instances of brltty running.
