Well, if sound was working during installation, it is probably
technically not a hardware problem. When you say the volume control
seems okay, does that mean you went into the sound settings and saw a
sound card listed there? I think you should install an ssh server, ssh
in and follow one of the tutorials on-line for diagnosing sound
problems. Here's one that looks pretty good:
http://epsi-rns.github.io/system/2018/06/22/audio-command-line.html
If you get stuck, please feel free to get back to us but it would be
hard for us on this list to describe everything you have to do to fix a
sound problem. There's lots of stuff on the web about that. I think the
key piece of advice is to enable ssh so you can get in there yourself to
fix it.

I got sighted assistance. He sais Orca is running and the volume control
seems OK. Also there is no sound when he tried to play youtube. So maybe
a hardware problem.

Are you sure you have no sound or is it just that the screen reader
isn't working? I don't know much about the configuration of the Dell
Touch but if it has a volume control, make sure it isn't just that the
volume is too low. A nice thing is that you can now get a keyboard
with a volume control. I think this technology has been around for a
very long time but I just discovered it a few weeks ago when somebody
gave me their old keyboard. Anyway, if you have a keyboard with a
volume control, you might try that.
Else, can you ssh to the machine? If you can ssh in, you might be able
to diagnose the sound problem and give us more info.

Hi,
With the help of Orca I installed Ubuntu 20.04 on a Dell 5480 Touch.
After updating and disabling the touch screen I restart and then I
left without sound. Do anybody knows how to solve this? Thanks in
advance.
