Re: [orca-list] flat review stops working after an application is launched

Hi,

Not an answer to your question but puzzled...

Out of curiosity I installed junction with flatpak as you did.

This needs no less than a 1.8G only for the runtime dependencies!
~$ du -h --max-depth=1 /var/lib/flatpak
68K /var/lib/flatpak/exports
78M /var/lib/flatpak/app
1,8G /var/lib/flatpak/runtime
23M /var/lib/flatpak/repo
1,9G /var/lib/flatpak

Details below:
~$ du -h --max-depth=1 /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/
45M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/org.freedesktop.Platform.VAAPI.Intel
719M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/org.gnome.Platform
11M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/re.sonny.Junction.Locale
653M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/org.gnome.Platform.Locale
1,1M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/org.gtk.Gtk3theme.Breeze
4,0M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/org.freedesktop.Platform.openh264
370M /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default
1,8G /var/lib/flatpak/runtime/

Please note that this is my first usage of flatpak on my
not-yet-released-Slint-15.0 so all this is for junction only: 1.9G for an
application/browser chooser! (and you certainly have other apps available on
your Fedora to do the same thing as junction).

On the other hand I could package and start junction, having stealed the
PKGBUILD from Arch:
https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=junction in less time
that needed to just download all the flatpak files from flathub...

This package (without the dependencies) weighs 250K after installation.

Just saying...

Cheers,
Didier

Hi,

environment: Fedora 35, orca master, all packages updated, Mate environment

reproducer:

1. sudo flatpak install junction

2. flatpak run re.sonny.Junction

3. alt+tab back to the Mate terminal and try to use flat review

It will not work, I have to restart Orca to get it working again.

Can you reproduce it?

Thank you,

Vojta
