Ecasound only gets maintenance these days. The LV2 support was added by a 
contributor. Pity, since I use Nama/Ecasound for all my recording work. If 
that stops working at some point, I'll be buggered. :)

Ardour - as some other completely inaccessible DAWs - has one major issue: the 
main widget - or widget library - for the user interface is inaccessible. So 
changing that, would mean changing gigantic heaps of code. As much as I hate 
to admit it, but I can understand them. It's still ironic,. at least, that 
Linux seems the only major OS right now wihtout an accessible DAW on the 
desktop. :(

If you are interested in getting Nama to work, afterall, feel free to mail me
