Reaper is not accessible on linux. On the other hand it's annoying that, for example, ardour developers actually refuse to make any accessibility work, or maybe, not sure about all of them but one of them is sceptical about it. I am not sure if I get this attitude although I also have no experience with any kind of DAW. Nama... One of it's dependencies fails to build for me at this very moment, and ecasound itself is, not sure if stable enough. Actually interesting if they are ever going to complete the lv2 support, as the project was last updated two years ago so seems still actively developed. W dniu 12.03.2021 o 20:13, Jeanette C. pisze:
Hi Michal, yes, have mod-host as an external sound source and play through Ecasound, or if you want to noodle or jam, just connect mod-host straight to your soundcard and have done with it. There are some synths which can be used. Actually for my work I use Nama, which is built on to of Ecasound. Slightly difficult as the first install, but much more comfortable. It is more like a DAW, it has tracks, can save projects and a very decent online help system in the software. On the other hand, I wonder whether Reaper is accessible on Linux. I know that it is useable with screenreaders on Windows and Mac. Best wishes, Jeanette
