Note: the autospawn comes from python-speechd, which starts the
speech-dispatcher from where it knows it is.

Put another way, which speech-dispatcher daemon gets started depends on
which python-speechd library orca uses, which is specified by
PYTHONPATH.

Using PATH would not necessarily be reasonable, because it not
necessarily true that python-speechd from PYTHONPATH will be able to
talk with the speech-dispatcher from the PATH.
