Hi again,
It looks like the problem is different.
If Orca is installed in /usr/local the right version is launched.
Could it be possible to have the Speech-Dispatcher version first in
$PATH launched instead of the version installed in the same as Orca?
Best regards,
Patrick

Hello,
Using Debian 10, Orca master and 3.36.2, Speech-Dispatcher installed
by Debian in usr and Speech-Dispatcher master in /usr/local, when
launching Orca it is alway the Debian installed version of
speech-dispatcher which id launched.
I can notice that because emojis are not pronounced when using Debian
version.
If I manually start /usr/local/bin/speech-dispatcher -t 0 before Orca,
it is OK.
How does Speech-Dispatcher is launched when we start Orca?
In fact, where should I look to understand why this surprising
behavior? :)
Best regards,
