Hello everyone,

After a power failure and an UPS failure I am unable to use Mate on my Debian Bullseye system. When I reboot 
I get the message Screen not in text mode. 
If I try to restart lightdm I get the same message. this affects only tty7. The other consoles work. Have any 
of you encountered a similar problem? How did you fix it?
