Re: [orca-list] Orca hangs if I start it on the Liferea RSS reader

I just tried it using gnome-shell as well as KDE and cannot reproduce
the problem. (For some reason, on my laptop, MATE won't start; and I'm
working on something on my desktop so I don't want to kill the session).
Can you reproduce it in gnome-shell?

That said, from your debug.out, it appears that liferea is lacking the
right states and properties that tell Orca it's the active window. I
wonder why that is.

Hello,

Environment:
- Debian 9 "Stretch"
- Liferea 1.12~rc3
- Orca master

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open the Liferea RSS reader
2) Place your cursor inside the list of last articles on a website
3) Start Orca, here on Mate with a shortcut or with alt + F2 "orca
--replace"

Result:
Orca never speaks. I need to start it on another application and switch
to Liferea to make it working

Expected result:
Orca should be startable even if the current application is Liferea
