This is absolutely great news indeed.

I had as it is planned to shift myelf and my entire project team to Mate.

They all are sighted so would not have problem any how, but I too wished
to switch to using Mate.

Now with all these updates, I think I can use it for prime time work.

Hope these fixes will be available in the up coming Ubuntu LTS.
