[orca-list] Funding bug fixes (was: When opening a folder with lot of files in it withOrca, it is very slow.)

We just decided to shut down iavit.org, the International Association Of 
Visually Impaired Technologists. I suppose we could reconsider if there 
was a demand. I would be willing to coordinate funding for bug fixes 
through iavit.org. We already are a 501C3 and have a paypal account. We 
could put together a committee to set priorties and decide on payments. 
I would be willing to chair the committee -- or not if someone else 
wanted to drive it.

IAVIT has some money. We have already pretty much settled on what to do 
with what we have left but I might be able to get IAVIT to kick in 
somewhere between a few hundred to a  couple of thousand dollars. I'd 
have to talk to the board of directors.
