I'm not seeing the results you describe. I am using Orca master and
Firefox nightly, and I land on the last-modified date. Well, I land on
some headings along the way, but the last-modified date is not being
skipped over, which I am assuming is your point.
Related to all of this, if you want to see a list of everything which
Orca will match on, you can bring up that list with Alt+Shift+O. Again,
for me, the last-modified date is included.

Could you please try with master now? Thanks!
It's better indeed but not perfect.
I've added the following lines in the orca-customizations.py:
import settings
settings.largeObjectTextLength=0
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open the following page:
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orca_(accessibilit%C3%A9)
2) Move your cursor on link "Accueil"
3) Press the shorcut to go to the next large-object
Result: Orca goes on : "Droit d'auteur : les textes sont disponibles
sous licence Creative Commons attribution, partage dans les mêmes
conditions ; d’autres conditions peuvent s’appliquer. Voyez les
conditions d’utilisation pour plus de détails, ainsi que les crédits
graphiques. En cas de réutilisation des textes de cette page, voyez
comment citer les auteurs et mentionner la licence."
Expected result: Orca should go on " La dernière modification de cette
page a été faite le 5 août 2017 à 23:53."
Best regards.
