Re: [orca-list] Running orca master on talking arch, and have a problem.

Hi Luke,

Does Manjaro get it from Archlinux?

Manjaro seems to hold most updates for a few days and do one major benge update once a week, or at least did
for the year or so I was regularly running
a manjaro based release.
These big updates happened on Friday or Saturday for me as I recall.
Then a few things trickled in over the next day or two, many seemed to be minor updates to a package that was
updated with the big batch.

Mark, what GUI are you running on your arch box?
I have had to start Orca on and off since I first installed it on Arch, can't remember whether Mate or XFCE
was more likely to need a nudge in the
beginning.
With my fluxbox based GUI I've usually had to manually start or restart orca first run after a reboot, but it
starts on its own if I restart a graphical
session after that, i.e. log out/shutdown the gui and then restart it later.
Things may have gotten a bit worse the last several days. I think I've had to manually start orca a few times
even after restarting the GUI.
I've run orca master almost exclusively for the last couple of years, might try the stable release for a few
days soon.

Nods. I should've been clearer. What I meant was, I'm waiting for
manjaro to get around to packaging it in it's software repositories.
We're still on 3.20.

Does Manjaro get it from Archlinux?
