Maybe not the pocket chip, but the EOMA68 computing card, as available in

The GPU is the only proprietary software bit, although you can get a version 
with a totally libre Linux distro, and they are looking at getting FSF 
approval. Mate may be able to run acceptably on this hardware, and maybe 
GNOME with the GPU enabled in 3D mode.
