Re: [orca-list] Deleting podcast episodes in gpodder

This is another rather off topic question. What you describe is logical considering what options are called
in the menus.
Check prefferences and see if they are what you want.
I do not have time to check, but there is an option that will restore items you marked as old I am almost
possitive, so you can take another stab at
downloading it.
Remember you can mark things to download, or just directly download them.
In the dontextual menus you should have a download option when a podcast episode is in focus.
You should probably join a distro specific group, or go on an irc channel or join a group related to the
programs that are giving you dificulty.
Gpodder's interface is a bit confusing, especiallyl how it changes presentation depending on whether it just
updated and whether or not you selected and
downloaded podcasts or other actions.
Also, progress messages are sent very frequently and orca's show progress setting has no effect on this
behavior.
All that being said, gpodder is a good program in most ways, and is under active development so will
hopefullyl improve over time.
Regards,

My issue with episodes appears to have fixed itself since my previous email.
I was prompted about 2 new episodes to download and given choices to download or mark as old, for some
reason downloading them failed so I tried marking as old.
I went to the list of episodes in the podcast I am currently playing and ones I deleted have been deleted
from the list.
