Re: [orca-list] orca and speakup on ubunto 15.04 system

There's a speakup IRC chan on freenode.
Good to hear there's an active mailing list again, I seem to hear that this is not always the case, but never
tried any speakup list personally.

Give me a few days and I’ll email you with my feedback on getting ubunto
   15.04 working with speakup.

I also would like to know the best  distro for Orca and Speakup for a new
to Linux. I do not want to compile anything, I just want to install it as
a VMware image and use it with my double-talk LT.

     Hi All,

I know this isn’t a speakup list, but there doesn’t seem to be any
     active speakup list around anymore.

I am running ubunto 15.04.  as of ubunto 14.04 I could apt-get install
speakup.  When I tried to install speakup on 15.04, apt-get can’t find
     speakup.  Am I doingsomething wrong?

If there is a better forum to talk about speakup please let me know.

     Best,
