I also would like to know the best  distro for Orca and Speakup for a new to Linux. I do not want to compile anything, I just want to install it as a VMware image and use it with my double-talk LT.

I am running ubunto 15.04.  as of ubunto 14.04 I could apt-get install speakup.  When I tried to install speakup on 15.04, apt-get can’t find speakup.  Am I doingsomething wrong?

 

If there is a better forum to talk about speakup please let me know.
