Re: [orca-list] Heads-up: I've branched for 3.14 and please test master

Hello,
Please try doing the following.
0) make sure both orca and firefox are started.
1) Open the page http://live.gnome.org/Orca in Firefox.
2) With this page open press alt+d to focuss the address bar.
3) Repeatedly press shift+tab keys until orca announces something like "Rethat link".
4) Now press the tab key alone and notice you hear orca presenting "entry".
5) Now press either the tab key alone or one of the arrow keys in order to find out you can't move and you are stuck in this position.

I was not sure whether this is an orca or a firefox issue but now it appears it is also happening for me even when switching off orca after performing step 3 in the list above. So either orca was working this around all the time up to now or this is a new firefox issue.

I am running Orca latest master as of today, firefox 31.0, gnome 3.12 on arch linux.

Greetings

Peter

Hey Peter.

I'm a bit confused about something:

I am sorry for a late report. I have noticed something I am not sure is
really an issue. It has been introduced even slightly before branching
for 3.14.
When using the tab key to navigate over all the focusable elements on a
web page it is no longer possible to tab pass the bottom and move back
to the addressbar.
Because Orca does not handle Tab. Tab is controlled by the browser. All
Orca does is is present the newly-focused location. So could you be more
precise about what Orca is doing wrong?

Thanks.
