Hi Luke and Thomas,
I using Speech-dispatcher with default Espeak module.
When I using Ubuntu Trusty default packaged Pulseaudio 4.0 release, if I
using the Majid suggested tsched=0 parameter in /etc/pulse/default.pa
configuration file the load-module module-udev-detect line, I
experiencing delay with normal typing or arrow key movements. The delay
is not extreme big, but disturbing me normal work when I want fast proof
reading for example a text with arrow keys.
So, my Ubuntu 14.04 system I again upgraded with Pulseaudio 5.0 testing
release in ppa:ubuntu-audio-dev/pulse-testing PPA and removed the
tsched=0 parameter from /etc/pulse/default.pa line.
The Pulseaudio 5.0 testing release full resolved me the experienced
Speech-dispatcher audio output related problem.
Majid suggested workaround resolved too this issue my system with
default packaged Pulseaudio 4.0 release, but have my system a delay with
speech-dispatcher related when I using Majid wrote parameter.
Attila
