Re: [orca-list] Is Orca compatible with Fedora

Hi Mohith,

Yes, Orca is certainly compatible with Fedora Linux. In fact, if you
get a current version of Fedora with a current version of Gnome Orca
should already be installed and ready to go. The installation for
Fedora needs improvements from an accessibility standpoint, but over
all Fedora is definitely one of the better Linux distributions in
terms of access and being able to get bleeding edge versions of Gnome,
Orca, and other accessibility software.

Cheers!

I am in need of exploring the unix environment.
My friend who is going to teach me Unix is suggesting for Fedora.
I would like to know is Orca compatible with Fedora and how to install
Orca in Fedora.

Currently, I am planning to start Fedora on VMware.

Thanks & Regards,
