Hi,
Besides Espeak there are a number of TTS engines that will work with
Orca. You can get Voxin, that's a Linux port of Eloquence, which costs
like $6.00 per voice, but is probably the one most former Windows
users will want as Eloquence is what most are use too. Alternatively
if you are willing to put out $30 or so per voice the voices at
http://www.cepstral.com
are reasonably decent v voices for the price. Last, but not least, is
Pico which is reasonable as well for a free voice.
Cheers!
