clamtk is the package that has GUI, but I've had trouble fully navigating the gtk menus. Certainly you can 
use the 
commandline part, clamav, from a console or terminal emulator.
It is using a huge amount of memory here on arch however, going to check in to this on vinux/Ubuntu.
I'm talking doing nothing, just cached memory, 300+MB
